Aerated Brewed Worm Tea Recipe
One of the things that I really care about is food waste and the effect that food waste has on the environment. That is one of the reasons why I keep a worm farm at home. It is somewhere for me to use up some of the juice pulp waste plus the worms produce castings (worm poo) that is literally liquid gold organic fertiliser. One way to use worm juice is to water the worms in the farm and then just collect the water that drains out. This worm juice is normally pretty concentrated so needs to be watered down before pouring on your garden plants or you can make a special aerated brew that is super abundant in microbes that really feed and condition your soil.
Below is a recipe for making 20Lt’s of aerated brewed worm tea. This can be applied directly to soil or diluted to a light brown tea colour and sprayed onto the foliage of your plants. This will support the health of the soil your plants are in plus it will help unlock nitrogen from the soil that will support your plants growth and strength to defend itself from pests and diseases.
